Escogido is a four year old 16 hand stallion, imported by our good friends at www.paradisemountainranch.com. Esco, as we call him, has straight legs and the mind and conformation for dressage. He has incredible reach and drive and really knows how to use his body. He is such a pleasure to ride, it amazes me how light on the forehand, supple and "through" he is. This horse understands his body and how to move the shoulder freely and with great ease. His canter is something you have to experience to put into words. At times I cannot believe he is only four years old. Truly Escogido is "The Chosen".
Escogido was shown at the USDF in-hand classes in 2007 placing 2nd with limited competition experience.
We are expecting him to be very competitive in 2008 where he will make his debut in the USDF Training Level classes for Region 6.
